Connor Blackley, a 15 year-old singer, has performed the National Anthem throughout Florida, including the Jacksonville Landing, the Jacksonville Veteran’s Memorial Arena for a Professional Bull Rider’s Event in 2011, and before the Lost Trailer Concert this past April. Connor has been a lead singer for two bands, “United” and “State of Mind”. His working on solo as well as duet material with his partner Cortnie Frazier; together they are known as “C Squared” and recently won Fox 30 news “X-Factor Front Line Pass” contest . They beat out 100 contestants, winning an all expense paid trip to Dallas to audition for the actual X-Factor show; they made it to round three.


Blue Muse specializes in classic jazz standards and includes many of the best musicians in the Jacksonville area. Members have performed for various jazz festivals, symphonies, Broadway shows, and with professional recording artists around the world. Several members are music educators working with schools and universities in Jacksonville. Blue Muse is a cohesive, laid back, professional, flexible and fun group of artists who love to share their passion for jazz.


Teddy Washington Signature Jazz Show featuring, “The Point After Band” is comprised of Jacksonville area jazz musicians paying tribute to one of Jacksonville’s consummate entertainers, fellow musician, mentor and friend – Teddy Washington, a highly talented trumpet player, vocalist and band leader. Teddy toured seven years with the James Brown Show as one of the Famous Flames, lead trumpet player, backup vocalist and musical director. Producer/Director of the Jacksonville 1999 Follies Awards Show at the Florida Theatre, Teddy directed a 14-piece orchestra, recognizing 23 local unsung jazz musical heroes along with up and coming young talent. Teddy Washington also headlined the opening of the Ritz Theatre.


Tambor is an instrumental sextet taking a nontraditional approach to traditional Latin and African music. The music is a blend of jazz and ethnic music with a minimalist compositional style.


UNF Jazz Ensemble III has performed at venues and jazz festivals in Florida and Georgia.  Recent engagements include UNF’s Great American Jazz Series, The Intercollegiate Jazz Festival, the Lakeside Jazz Festival in Daytona Beach, and the Jazz Festival at the Kravis center in West Palm Beach. The ensemble is made up of 21 UNF students with a variety of majors under the direction of Dr. Marcus Dickman, a founding member of the UNF Jazz Studies department. Dickman has gained international renown by performing on three continents. His TBA Big Band performs every other Monday night at Harmonious Monks in Mandarin
